Handcrafted one-at-a-time, and designed to be at your service for many years -these custom leather mandolin straps will take on a wonderful rich character with age.

The main strap is 2cm wide, and It has a sliding shoulder pad for extra comfort. The included shoulder pad can also be removed for a slim streamlined look. It has a length range of 115-135cm (45"-53"), and is compatible with both A-style and F-style mandolins. For added comfort and durability, all edges are rounded and burnished smooth. The narrow section which sits under the strings/florentine measures 1.5cm wide by 3mm thick. Please ensure this sizing will work with your instrument. Several colours/configurations are available, and the strap can also be personalized with a unique name/monogram of your choice.

Every hide is different, and each one will have its own signature look; range markings, scars, and wrinkles give each piece a unique character. The color examples were photographed under natural light, and they're a good representation of how the leather looks in person, but some variation is always to be expected. With regular exposure to dirt and everyday life, the materials will darken and take on a warm patina.

This strap is made of quality leather and works perfectly on my Michael Kelly F-style mandolin. I wanted something thin but with more support over the shoulder. This strap is perfect. The photos are very accurate. I do some leatherwork and will say, the quality of the leather is very high. It's also nice to contribute to a craftsman rather than a big company.

I purchased this mandolin strap for my son...

I purchased this mandolin strap for my son, a professional folk mandolin musician, as a Christmas gift. He recently purchased a new mandolin to take his playing to the next level, and I wanted to support that. His current strap was an old belt!
