The closure is made using braided cotton cord with stainless steel grommets, and it has flexible shoulder pads for extra comfort. The bag measures 30x45cm when fully packed, and it also compacts nicely for stuffing in a coat pocket or shopping bag. It's a spacious and versatile tote that will be at your service for many years, taking on a wonderful rich character with age.

The waxed cotton duck canvas has a soft feel in the hands, yet is an extremely rugged material that ages beautifully. The wax treatment adds rigidity and protection from the elements, and it also gives this textile its signature old-world look. It can be re-treated with wax over and over again for maximum service life. Every hide is different, and each one will have its own signature look; range markings, scars, and wrinkles give each piece a unique character. The color examples were photographed under natural light, and they're a good representation of how the materials appear in person, but some variation is always to be expected. With regular exposure to dirt and everyday life, the materials will darken and take on a rich character.
